Biography

Stefan Kirchhoff has worked as a keeper and animal shelter manager for the Union against the abuse of animals (“Bund gegen den Mißbrauch der Tieren e.V. (BMT)”) in Germany and abroad for 12 years. He was a member of the BMT’s advisory board and examiner for the examiner committee of animal keepers. He worked as deputy project manager of Günther Bloch’s Tuscany Dog Project for one and a half years, where he observed feral domestic dogs in Italy. After his animal welfare activities, he photographically documented the life of street dogs in Europe for several month and published a book on the subject. Today he works as a dog trainer near Bremen.
